How to extract any file extension !!

RAR is the native format of WinRAR archiver. Like other archives, RAR files are data containers, they store one or several files in the compressed form. Compressed archives are common on internet, especially on sharing sites. After you have downloaded RAR file from Internet, you need to unpack its contents in order to use it. Comparing to ZIP file format, RAR provides a number of advanced features: more convenient multipart (multivolume) archives, tight compression including special solid, multimedia and text modes, strong AES-128 encryption, recovery records helping to repair an archive even in case of physical data damage, Unicode support to process non-English file names and a lot more.

Some RAR files can be parts of a multi-volume sequences. In WinRAR you can split a huge archive to a few smaller files, which are called volumes.

Older versions of WinRAR used either:

.rar or exe (SFX) for first volume

.r01, r02, r03 ....etc. for any additional volumes

Or:

.rar or exe (SFX) for first volume

.001, .002, .003 ....etc. for any additional volumes

The newer versions of WinRAR are using:

.rar or exe (SFX) for first volume

.part1.rar, .part2.rar, part3.rar ....etc. for any additional volumes

In order to unpack the multi-volume RAR archive, you need to place ALL of the split parts in the same directory and start extraction of the first volume. The program will automatically use all of the parts to extract the content of the archive.

1) For ".001" extension Use "HJSplit"  -- Download

  



2) For "._a" extension Use "FFJS" -- Download

3) For ".a00, .a01, .a02,..., .alz" extension, Use "ALZip"-- Download

4.For ".vnw" extension. Now rename set of files to ".rar" and use "WinRAR" -- Download

Keep Broken Files  (CRC errors)

Here's the solution that might help you guys with corrupted .rar archive.


Step 1 :-  Right Click on .rar archive and select extract files

Step 2 :-  Before extract the .rar archive, please tick on   "KEEP   BROKEN FILES" option on winrar.
